Husband and wife project from Portland, Oregon Reptaliens have dripped a good dose of acid in our tea with their new video for 'Changing', lifted from their second album, VALIS. The band are inspired by sci-fi art, cult mentality and deep connections, enabling the creation of "low fidelity chameleon dreamscapes". Their self-directed video sees hand-held home recordings distorted with electric lines, radiating television static. Saturated multi-coloured circles of footage of the couple are framed by woozy patterns. 'Changing' is a docile number that sees jovial melodies on piano, bass and vocals - the kitsch kind that could soundtrack a tripped-out psychedelic gathering. Check it out. -Ellie Rose-Davies
